Rose Care
1. Unpacking Your Passion Roses
Carefully remove your flowers and packaging as soon as you receive your roses. Inspect your roses and remove any bruised, brown, or damaged petals. These outer, bruised petals are "guard petals" that protect the inner blooms during shipping. You can gently remove them by pulling from the base of the rose head and moving in the direction of the stem.
2. Adding Flower Food
Fill a container three-fourths full with cold water and stir in the flower food packet provided. These floral packets contain essential ingredients to help extend the life of your roses.
3. Cutting the Stems
Cut 1 inch off each stem at a 45-degree angle using sharp, clean clippers. This will allow your roses to absorb more water. Remove leaves that will sit below the water line to prevent bacterial growth.
4. Extending Flower Life
Here are five flower care tips to make your beautiful Passion Bouquets live longer.
• Recut stems every few days, removing 1-2 inches.
• Change the water every 2-4 days, or sooner if cloudy.
• Discard faded flowers and place the remaining stems in a smaller vase or jar.
• Keep flowers in a cool, dark place (65°F–72°F) for longer freshness.
5. Celebrate the Moment
Most importantly, enjoy your beautiful Passion Roses! Allow yourself to appreciate their elegance and symbolism, knowing you've given them the best care to keep them looking their best.
